"I made this video because I just saw a video of someone who died the day after us, and now they're hospitalized," Lee said. "Just me, my character, and who I am as a person... I will come out and say something about it," he continued, sending his "heart and blessings" to the person.
The food reviewer also took the restaurant's response directly, asking for accountability. "If someone is hospitalized and something moves in [the food], I think there should be some accountability taken," she said.
He criticized FOB's explanation, stating, "If the restaurant posts a statement suggesting that me holding my chopsticks in a certain way is the reason why the sushi moved, I personally don't agree with it."
Lee, who has eaten sushi "a thousand times," argues that the movement in the fish is not something he caused. "I've held sushi a thousand different ways, and never once have I seen sushi behave like that," he says.

"That's not me saying it's worms or parasites, I'm just saying it's not my fault. I was really just eating as a customer. As a customer, I shouldn't be blamed if it was something that moved."
Lee's followers have expressed concern about the situation, but he assures them that he is feeling well since his visit to the restaurant. As of now, FOB Sushi has closed its Seattle and Bellevue locations until further notice.
