A woman who was allegedly filmed performing a sex act on a live trout has appeared in court for the first time. Catherine June Lee, 58, of Howden, a suburb of Hobart, faces three charges relating to bestiality material allegedly produced between February 2022 and January 2023.

She is charged with one count of possession of bestiality products and two counts of making or reproducing bestiality products. Dressed in a black suit, Lee appeared at the Hobart Magistrates Court on Monday to request an adjournment without plea.
The judge granted Lee an adjournment until October, The Mercury reported.
Police allege the disturbing film shows Lee lying on a boat at sea, somewhere near southern Tasmania , while her male companion uses a live brown trout to perform sex acts on her.

The footage depicts 'sexual activity' between Lee and the trout, according to court documents. Lee's co-defendant, Ashley David Hallam, 55, faced trial in May this year but has yet to enter a plea.
