Review Deadpool & Wolverine 2024
Deadpool & Wolverine is a truly refreshing treat both in terms of ideas and cinematography (especially since the movie is rated adult). Strong writing is the basis of how the dialogues of each character are truly unimaginable.
Ryan Reynolds, Rhett Reese, Paul Wernick, Zeb Wells and Shawn Levy seem to know how each character's words (and their iconic lines) should be. Changing the concept from a road movie to an action-packed movie is a blessing for Marvel fans.
Not to mention that there are tons of cameos that are presented here and spoil the fans. Many times the whole studio screamed because of the presence of a figure who had long been forgotten or appeared in Marvel films. With his genius, Shawn Levy hooked everyone and without the concept of the multiverse that began to make the audience uneasy.
Especially for Wolverine, Shawn doesn't lose the drama element that the actor had shown in Logan. Despite facing a chatty Deadpool with his jokes, it is clear to see the deep regret from the fear of his past mistakes that made him run away to alcohol.
Emma Corrin's performance as Cassandra Nova is also hypnotizing. Despite not having a strong motive for being Queen of The Void and (previously) not intending to destroy the universe like other villains, she is portrayed as the strongest mutant there that even Alioth can't devour.
