Shannon Sharpe Admits He Wasn't Hacked
Sharpe, @shannonsharpe84, did a live stream where her followers could hear sex noises in the background. The video never featured anyone in the video, including Sharpe, but many people who came across the livestream realized that the content was not safe to watch;
On Wednesday, Sharpe issued a statement via Instagram's stories feature saying that she was hacked - but later retracted in the podcast episode admitting that it was her in the video.
"Beware my Instagram @shannonsharpe84 was hacked this morning, my team and I are working hard to resolve it," read the Instagram story post with her signature, before she retracted her statement.
On the "Nightcap" episode he co-hosted with Chad "Ochocinco" Johnson, Sharpe said that he was embarrassed by the incident.
"I threw my phone on the bed," Sharpe said, noting that he didn't know he was live-streaming on Instagram at the time.
